Arsalan Iftikhar is  an American international human rights lawyer, global media commentator, and author of the book Islamic Pacifism: Global Muslims in the Post-Osama Era (2011). Arsalan is the founder of www.TheMuslimGuy.com and  is a regular commentator for the National Public Radio (NPR) broadcast “Tell Me More” with Michel Martin. In addition to publishing columns and articles worldwide, he is also a regular contributor to CNN.com and Esquire magazine’s Middle East edition.

In May 2011, Arsalan’s account was named one of the Top 12 Muslim Twitter accounts in the world by The Huffington Post. He was also featured in the  December 2012 ABC News documentary, “Back to the Beginning” by Emmy-award winning journalist Christiane Amanpour on the shared origins of the major world religions today.
