Dr. Alessandro Frigerio has been a visiting scholar at the Department of Political Science, University of Massachusetts, Amherst, USA, where he carried out a research project on the relationship between security and liberty under the threat of terrorism and on the concept of exception. Currently, he works on two major projects on political theory in Central Asia and on ethics in international affairs, with a particular focus on ‘Responsibility to Protect’.
